Elara is a Tree Elf, she is the eyes and ears of the tree, created by Druids to be part of the life of the Scots Pine. Elara watches and protects the forest, the animals and the tree. Elara has also been instrumental with the people that have encountered the Tree House Tree.

The Tree House Tree is a nearly 500 year old Scots Pine. Noticed by Druids at the start of the 1600s as a symbol of peace and serenity, it was given a Tree Elf to ensure that it remained a constant in the changing world around it. A symbol for all those who travel along the path from London to York.

An ally and a friend to Elara and Odin. Reynard is a cunning fox who provides information to Elara and Odin about what is going on in the wider world outside the forest. Reynard uses his network of friends to provide up to date information to Elara. Reynard also gets involved directly sometimes.

Odin the wise Owl who has been in the forest as long as Elara and the tree. Protected by Elara's magic, Odin provides information to Elara about the comings and goings of the forest. A faithful companion to Elara and a good friend to all. Odin provides wise counsel to Elara.
